Perimeter surveillance systems
Systems manufactured by SAC use the most up-to-date technology for perimeter surveillance.
The main peripheral detection systems are based on magnetic contacts, vibration and glass breakage detectors, infrared, vibrations, presence and video surveillance.
The electronic detection system for perimeter fences and walls is based on the physical property of a cable specially developed to be sensitive to vibrations, cutting, striking, etc., which converts all interference with the fence into an electrical signal.
Virtual detection screens consisting of infrared detectors, in contrast to the above, are active systems that emit radiation and create an invisible barrier that activates the alarm when broken.
Burying a wire that follows the perimeter of the fence sets up a coil of an electromagnetic or capacitive circuit that changes its parameters when a body passes over it (similar to those set in asphalt to measure vehicle speed), activating an alarm.
In addition to these systems, closed circuit television (CCTV), which requires surveillance staff and enable recording of events in the area, is an essential tool for identifying intruders.
SAC recommends requesting advice for each specific case.
